Our story begins in Finland in 1952. The country was still recovering from World War II and was preparing to host the 1952 Summer Games. Wanting to welcome global visitors, but concerned with how to serve them drinks fast enough, the government commissioned the creation of a refreshing and revolutionary new liquor drink, and thus the first long drinks were born.
