NEW RELEASE

We are excited to release our first Gamay Noir, just in time for summer drinking. This is the perfect red for warm nights and outdoor dining.

Gamay Noir, grown at the 3,000 foot elevation in the decomposed granite soils of El Dorado County, is the same Gamay clone that is used in the Beaujolais region.  The region has warm days and cold nights caused by cooled air channeled down the American River Canyon from the High Sierra peaks to the East.  It was artisan-crafted, with whole-cluster fermentation, and hand-punch downs.  Barrel-aging was in older French oak barrels.  We bottled this wine in late Spring 2024.
